Whistling Thorn: Your Home Sweet Home
The Whistling Thorn Home Owners Association oversees a riverside community with the most gorgeous homes and welcoming neighbors in the county.
We have 37 homes in our community and may be open to expanding. Contact us for more information about joining. Generally, to become a part of our community, members must purchase a home or land adjoining our community.
Once membership is obtained, residents can enjoy hiking and biking on the beautiful, wooded Michael's Trail, homes with river views, and other river walk opportunities. We have a large pool for members to enjoy along with a beautiful recreation center, where you'll find games, a television, and a computer station.
In addition to these amenities, you'll find a safe community full of friendly people. As a community, we participate in many seasonal events and even band together for volunteerism projects and charity work. If you're looking for a neighborhood that emphasizes community, cleanliness, and convenience, then Whistling Thorn might be your home sweet home.
Our board president, Lori Parks, has been a resident for more than 25 years, and she makes a constant effort to reach out to new members of the community. The board and staff are always happy to hear about your concerns as well as your ideas about how to make Whistling Thorn a better place for every resident. Thanks to the feedback and the contributions of our members, we've been able to add so many amazing features to our community in the past year. The pool was built five years ago, and the tennis courts are a newer addition! We are attuned to the needs and wishes of our residents, and we will always do everything in our power to make the community seem like home for all residents.
